The Bram Stoker Awards, recognizing achievement within the horror style, and given yearly since 1988 by the Horror Writers Affiliation, had been introduced earlier this month.
Considered one of their classes, and why I’m mentioning it right here, is Superior Achievement in a Graphic Novel. (I like that they thought of manga as nicely.) The nominees had been:
and the winner was Carmilla: The First Vampire by Amy Chu and Soo Lee from Darkish Horse. Congratulations to all these acknowledged!
